RICHTERSVELD 2025

I joined Douwe Vlok and Heuningland Tours on their Richtersveld Photography Tour from the 18th to 27th September 2025. Also on the tour was Toast Coetzer who was our excellent photographic guide. This is a collection of images to give you an idea of both the vastness and the minuteness of the Richtersveld and its flora.

I arrived at The Growcery Eco Camp campsite mid-afternoon on Thursday 18th September, and found a nice place to park the van. After introductions, our group of 10 campers, Douwe and Toast got in our vehicles and drove to the top of a large rocky outcrop on the banks of the Orange River for sundowners.
